Goodbye Star Trek Online, and hello Aliens Vs Predator
February 28, 2010
I made it to the Commander rank in Star Trek Online before I absolutely positively could not stand playing the game anymore.
If you like repetition and Star Trek, it's the game for you, because believe me, you will do exactly the same thing over and over again.
In the meantime, I picked up the new Aliens Vs Predator for the pc. Here's a video of me playing as the Predator:
There are two more like that on Youtube, if the look of it takes your fancy. It's quite good, but will only really appeal to fans of the franchises. If that's not you I'd steer clear, because the single-player campaigns are relatively short and they dropped the ball (a little) with it's multiplayer. To put a long story short, you can't join games in progress and the community is still waiting (impatiently) for the dedicated server software to be released.
So yeah, speaking of AvP (kinda), I went to the doctor for my physical. He said he needed a semen, stool and a urine sample. I said "gee doc, I'm in a big hurry, can I just leave my underwear?"
Have a good one!
